Birthday pedicure for the princess

My little girl is turning 5 in three days, so when she asked if she could get her nails painted like a real big kid how could I say no. She was so proud getting into the spa chair, when her feet touched the water she turned and said "so this is what it's like to be a real big kid".

It's been forever!!

Have I mentioned we are having a baby!!

     We are having a BOY! He is due 8/14, but we are sure he will be here before that (he is BIG, according to the Doc) little nervous about this.
Abbie starts kindergarten in September. I can not believe she is turning five in 18 days. Life has been moving so fast.  She is growing up so fast and is a great kid.
I am still working and will be off work for 5 1/2 months once the baby comes (can't wait),
then back to work part time (thankful we can swing this).
Abbie is truly looking forward to being a big sister and BIG helper. She has been helping to clean her old toys and "Style" her new brothers room. Abbie loves to arrange the toys on the shelves and rearrange the dresser, just about everyday.
Our weekends have been full of family and spending time together. We feel blessed and can't wait to start this new adventure with our new little man. (and for me to be back to normal, I feel really BIG)

Check out Abbie's new hair style ;) she has decided that she would like to "swoop" her bangs. It was too funny when she made the announcement, while on our way to get her hair cut and I quote "I don't want to cut my bangs this time, I want them to swoop them like Aunt GG and you Mama". She now does her own hair, picks out her clothes and dresses herself everyday. I have to keep my mouth shut about the hair and clothes. It has already started, pick your battles right?

Our 3 hour tour

We went for a chilly harbor cruise on Sunday that Abbie LOVED. Her favorite part was when we went out into the open ocean and we went really fast....

Brian and Jamie's 25th??? Birthday Party

All I can say is Brian you wish you where 25 again.

We had a great time seeing all our long lost friends. Abbie even had a great time...she partied till 11:30pm. Then crashed within 30sec after being buckled into the car.

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve we always go see Paul's Dad's side of the family. It was so fun to see the next generation of cousins running and having the best time together. Abbie was loving that she had a undiscovered new best friend, Paige.

Leading up to Christmas

This has been a super busy month. We have been to so many parties and have enjoyed seeing friends and family that we never get to see.

A year older....

My Birthday and fun with the family has been the theme of this week...

Monday was my official 32nd birthday but the celebration started on Saturday with a family dinner. It was a little crazy being alone (no Paul) planning a dinner party and entertaining Abbie, but I had a great time seeing everyone and playing with the kids. (when will Paul stop working weekends? big deep breath) 

On Sunday Paul, Abbie and I did our normal "Disney day" and had a great time. Including having dinner at the Blue Bayou restaurant, Paul surprised me by making reservations ahead of time, so sweet.

 On Monday my actual birthday, Abbie and I hadn't had enough so we went back to California Adventure and rode every ride!!! No one was there it was awesome.
